I offer skillful therapy with warmth, gentleness, humor, and an interactive, down to earth style. My therapeutic approach blends more traditional psychodynamic work with body-oriented psychotherapy, mindfulness practices, and the development of a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. I work with adolescent and adult individuals, couples, and groups. This work is about igniting what works, what is strong and beautiful in us, as much as it is about resolving old hurt and compassionately holding the difficulties of life. Therapy can facilitate powerful shifts creating greater room for happiness, authenticity and a deeper sense of purpose and meaning.
If you are seeking a counselor, you may be struggling with some aspect of yourself or with someone important to you. Therapy helps change patterns that no longer serve you. It can help you reconnect with your natural aliveness, step more powerfully into yourself, and the life you truly want.
I love this work, and feel honored to be both witness and guide as people reconnect with their vitality, wisdom and creativity. I have an MA in clinical psychology and advanced training in Hakomi body-oriented psychotherapy. I am also a poet, dancer and lover of wild and tended gardens.
