A good therapist helps clarify what we already do well and separates out what's useful from what's not. Therapy is about expanding your repertoire, spotting better choices, and enhancing communication skills. I work with people in various combinations, from individuals to couples to families. I focus on conflict resolution, resolving the effects of life changes (marriage, divorce, children), the expected anxieties and worries along the way. People's stories about themselves are fertile ground for starting conversations that make a difference.
I have supervised and trained therapists in a University/Hospital setting in addition to my private practice. I'm a licensed psychologist in New York State and a Certified Hypnotherapist. (Some clients have an interest in using hypnosis as a tool to enhance the therapy process.) Working remotely: Zoom or FaceTime at present.
