“Do you have a teenager struggling with their peers, school, their parents, or who just needs confidence in themselves to live up to their potential? I have 20 years of clinical experience and expertise with adolescents to bring solutions to your family. Are you the parent of a bright but behaviorally difficult child? I am trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to give you effective tools for regaining control as a parent, and in feeling closer to your child. I have a specialization in working with children who have experienced abuse or trauma as well.
PCIT is a structured treatment fully involving the parents that addresses disturbances involving children's behavior. I have years of experience developing a specialty in treating the traumatic effects of sexual assault, and child abuse and trauma.
My experience with teens with self-injurious behavior is extensive. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy is often used with teens and adults. I have also had the privilege to work for more than 7 years with Native American teens and their families.”
