“I am licensed by the state of South Carolina as a Professional Counselor. I have experience in psychotherapeutic treatment of individuals, couples and groups. My areas of specialization include mood disorders i.e., depression, and bipolar disorder; anxiety disorders , i.e., generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, specific phobias, and post traumatic stress disorder. I also see couples who present with difficulty in relationship issues. I received my Masters Degree in Psychology from The Citadel, in Charleston SC, and my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina at Coastal.

'Mixed-Gender Mixed-Age Adult' Bipolar Support Groups were held in 2008 at my Office Suite on Anna Knapp. The 'Twenty Something' Bipolar Support Group' began in 2007. The 2009 'Mixed-Gender Mixed-Age Adult' Bipolar Support Group commences August 2009. The 'Twenty Something' Bipolar Support Group' is planned for later in 2009, subject to sufficient numbers. My office suite is at 1002 Anna Knapp Blvd. Ext. in Mount Pleasant SC, 6 miles from downtown Charleston SC, and my colleagues include two other experienced therapists. I practiced at College of Charleston's Counseling and Substance Abuse Services for eight years before moving to private practice.”
