“I am a Solution-Focused Psychotherapist and I work with adults, children, families, and couples. I believe that all people have innate inner strengths which they can use to help solve their problems. I provide a gentle, caring, and respectful form of therapy. I can work with people who are experiencing any kind of emotional, behavioral, or relationship challenge. I have helped countless numbers of people during my 25 years of counseling experience. The approach that I use often provides very quick results. Many of my clients have obtained positive and long-lasting changes after just one session.
I specialize in using Solution-Focused Psychotherapy (SFP), which I learned during post-graduate training. SFP focuses on clients' strengths, goals, and solutions towards those goals. SFP has been proven to be extremely effective through numerous studies. My approach sometimes incorporates cognitive-behavioral techniques which works very well with SFP.
I am one of only a handful of psychotherapists in New York City who specializes in SFP. Instead of spending countless sessions painfully exploring problems in great depth which often intensifies problems and/or lengthens treatment, I focus on exploring client strengths, goals, solutions, and progress in great detail.”
