I work primarily with adults and specialize in anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (including complex or developmental PTSD) as well as depression, relationship issues, performance enhancement and work stress. My doctoral training, at Rutgers University (GSAPP), focused on cognitive-behavioral therapy. Today, I view myself as ecletic and open-minded, incorporating approaches including EMDR, mindfulness, and clinical hypnosis. I am certified in EMDR, IFS and clinical hypnosis. I am also a Master Therapist in NARM, a modality for treating trauma.
Aside from formal training, my postdoctoral professional interests and life experiences provide a foundation for my work. These include training in neuropsychology and years of work in the rehabilitation field, interest in other cultures and time living abroad, interest in health and nutrition, and an appreciation for the creative arts.
