Often when people come to see me, they have been experiencing the pain and challenges of life much more than the pleasure, and they desire to feel better and enjoy life more fully. I have worked with men and women who experience this pain in many forms, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, grief, or the aftermath of trauma. In addition, I am very interested in working with people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. I have worked extensively with immigrants, first generation citizens, international students and professionals, and people who identify as multicultural or a person of color.
I work with adults 18 and over in individual, couple, and group therapy. I work in a caring, calming, and non-judgmental manner to help you to understand the sources of your struggles. Through this process, you can gain greater clarity and compassion for what has led you to where you are today.
We will work together so that you can be more mindful of your thoughts, feelings, and hopes. This will help you to develop better coping skills and make new choices that ultimately will lead to more satisfying work, play, and relationships.
