As your therapist, I can help you find the solutions to problems that seem impossible for you to solve. I can help you to reduce those symptoms that brought you to me in the first place. Together we can develop behavioral changes that make life more enjoyable. Once involved, you will feel less helpless, overwhelmed, or frightened. I provide a safe space in which you can articulate your difficulties, and support for the efforts you are willing to make to turn things around. From here you will find the opportunity for personal growth. Please visit http://therapy.borgardt.com.
For most of my career I have been primarily focussed on trauma. My education in psychology goes back to UCLA (undergrad) and Antioch University for my Masters in Clinical Psychology. This included a thorough knowledge of psychodynamic/psychoanalytic psychotherapies, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as many others.
This may not be enough to give you a clear and comprehensive view of me as a therapist. So I offer a free consultation, one in which you can get a much better idea of what it might be like to do therapy with me. If interested, please call.
