Dr. William H Gottdiener

Psychologist , PhD

(646) 490-0606
Do you have an addiction? I can help. I'm an addiction psychologist. No two addictions are the same and no two people with an addiction experience them the same. Therapy, therefore, needs to be flexible and also needs to address the problems that often occur with addictions such as, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, work difficulties, and school issues. People with an addiction are notoriously skilled at fooling themselves. Therapy is ideal for people who are tired of the self-deception; who want to get to know themselves, and be able to be happy.
I am a harm reduction therapist. This means that the most important goal is to reduce the potential harms caused by a person's addiction. Abstinence from alcohol might be the best outcome for one person, but learning to be a social drinker might the best for another.
If you have an addiction; you're serious about trying to figure yourself, and want to have a happier life then call me or email me and let's get started. I look forward to hearing from you.
