I work with both men and women from late adolescence through adulthood, providing counseling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples. Some counselees are struggling with clinical disorders, some with difficult circumstances, some with life transitions, and some are looking for a way to examine, to grow, and to deepen their experience. My goal is to assist each person in finding and walking their own particular path in a way that will lead them to health, growth and wholeness.

I use an eclectic approach, recognizing that each person has a unique combination of needs, experiences, and orientations. The relationship between the therapist and the counselee is important and it is treated with respect, attention, and a recognition of the the trust involved.

I practice as a pastoral counselor, bringing an awareness of spirituality to my clinical work. I do not espouse a particular faith, nor impose spirituality as part of the conversation. I am open to many ways of finding meaning and have worked effectively with individuals of different faiths and of none.
