Dr. Carrie Singer

Psychologist , PsyD

(240) 750-6467
My approach towards counseling is to be a caring, empathic listener who objectively guides clients to understanding themselves and the origins of their problems to prevent their reoccurrence. We will work together to define your personal goals and explore how you can strengthen your resources to reach them. Some typical outcomes of therapy include improved self-confidence, greater ability to maintain mutually satisfying relationships, and even increased productivity. Clients often comment that they appreciate my calm and accepting demeanor.
My specialties include the treatment of anxiety, depression, relationship problems, self-defeating patterns of behavior, ADHD, and identity concerns. I possess unique expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood and adolescent mental health concerns.
Services provided: individual and family therapy for clients of all ages; clinical consultation; and supervision of developing professionals. My office is located near the Kentlands. I currently have daytime openings for new clients.
