I am a psychologist with many years of experience treating adolescents and adults. I work with a range of issues and concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, life transitions and loss. My work modality is psychodynamic/psychoanalytic which means that I help my clients better understand their underlying patterns and cycles of repetitions that have stalled their growth and overall life satisfaction. Within this framework, my clients are better able to understand their thoughts and feelings and thereby gain an increased capacity for living a more full and satisfying life.
I received my doctorate from New York University and completed a fellowship at the Yale-New Haven Hospital Child Study Center. Additionally, I have trained at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital and Bellevue Hospital.
