I have over 20 years of experience working with adults, children, adolescents, and couples in a variety of settings. My approach involves warmth, honesty, insight, compassion, and humor. My counseling experience includes co-occurring disorders, substance use, emotional regulation, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and interpersonal difficulties. I am particularly interested in relational issues including building greater connection, couples counseling and helping individuals heal from divorce or separations.
I utilize techniques from a variety of clinical approaches, including Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Cognitive, Narrative, and Strengths-Based models. In my work with couples, I help couples improve communication and increase intimacy as they simultaneously grow as individuals. I work with both same sex and opposite sex couples.
