Intensive Treatment for Eating Disorders

Zephyrus is Santa Fe, New Mexico's only program specializing in Disordered Eating - Anorexia, Bulimia and Compulsive Over-Eating. Zephyrus offers an Intensive Out Patient Program that is fully integrative and carefully constructed with evidence-based and essential recovery elements. Therapeutic approaches that engage the mind, body, psyche and spirit have been carefully woven into the fabric of the program. The program is specifically designed to address the full spectrum of symptoms associated with eating disorders, body dysmorphia and compulsive exercise in women, men, adolescent girls and boys. PLEASE NOTE: Zephyrus of Santa Fe is able to offer services to clients who require therapeutic support but are not in need of an intensive program. Clients can participate in all of Zephyrus' services on an as needed basis. Zephyrus is also a perfect step down for individuals returning from residential treatment.

Intensive Out Patient Program (IOP)

The Intensive Out Patient Program at Zephyrus has beed designed o to meet the needs of individuals struggling with Anorexia Nervoa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Compulsive Exercise and all of the behavioral health issues associated with disordered eating. The Intensive Out Patient Program meets 3 hours per day 3 days a week. In addition to the services offered in the program, all of Zephyrus' clients work closely with a Nutritionist. All services are individualized and each client receives a great deal of individual treatment and attention.

Each Intensive Out Patient meeting includes a Meal Experience in the Zephyrus kitchen. Clients receive hand on support with eating, food preparation and exposure to fear foods as part of the recovery process.
