Through my years of practice I have come to understand that the most important factor in having a positive and productive therapy experience is the solid collaboration between the therapist and the patients. In a trusting, confidential and empathic environment one can manage challenging issues and find a way towards self improvement and further growth. I provide support and guidance and encourage self determination to help my patients reach goals that are important to them. It's a valuable partnership in which I hope to assist in finding a way to more fulfilling relationships, more satisfaction and greater self esteem.
When working with couples, my focus is empowering the couple to take control during the most destabilized time. Whether helping couples separate or helping them stay together, couples are the authorities on their relationships and I will facilitate the important conversations.
Additional clinical interests are parenting difficulties as well as working with individuals who work in creative fields. I tend to work with patients who range in age from their early adulthood to their sixties. I have some flexibility in my fee.
