I am a warm and engaged therapist, with a focus on practical solutions. My 15+ years experience includes work with clients on a variety of important issues: relationship and parenting, anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Also, issues experienced by children of divorce, and issues related to children and adolescence (including college populations). My approach, in addition to exploring feelings and examining past and present relationships, emphasizes practical solutions to current relationship problems and issues raised in therapy. I work with individuals, couples, and families (both short and long-term). I have led groups for single women, and new parents.
In additions to my work in private practice, I supervise the treatment of graduate students and undergraduates at Brooklyn College where I have also been an adjunct professor in the psychology department. I work with clients from a diversity of backgrounds and experience and welcome your call.
