My practice is based on helping adults and adolescents gain self awareness, insight into their problems, and coping skills and resiliency to live a more healthy and productive life. I use an eclectic approach that leans heavily toward client-centered and play therapy. However, I use an individualized approach to address each client's needs. My specializations include child and adolescent issues, divorce, parenting, and problems with adjustment. I provide therapeutic visitation for parents and children and individual parent coaching.
I use the curative powers of play to teach children more adaptive behaviors, resolve psycho-social difficulties, and achieve optimal growth and development. I use my extensive knowledge of children, childhood development and experience to assist in therapeutic visitation and parent coaching. I also offer services in court/trial consultation.
I also have a great deal of experience working with adults with relationship issues, stress, anxiety, and depression. I am very open, caring, and emotionally available to assist clients in healing and living a more effective life.
