I'm very good at helping you determine what is under your power to change and what is something to accept, grieve, and learn to live with. Whether it's a failing relationship, children with disability, or your adolescent has pushed you to the end of your rope, I bring hope, humor and comfort as I walk along side you as you find solutions, peace, and direction.
Relationships and Trauma are my specialities. I help restore relationships that are stuck in negative cycles and renew parent-teen relationships that are struggling. Helping families through divorce and restructuring is something else I do particularly well. I use EMDR therapy for all ages, with a commitment to help especially children and veterans resolve trauma.
I integrate spirituality, Christian theology, and psychology - not a task without ambiguities and mess. I bring solid Biblical knowledge and prayer for those who want it, and solid wisdom for those who aren't religious. I work with all faith orientations and with people who have no particular faith orientation.
