Ms. Tasha B Pera

Marriage & Family Therapist , MFT

(510) 400-8075
The purpose of therapy is to bring about change. We each have the tools within ourselves to make it possible to improve our lives. There are times, however, that we may be so overwhelmed with difficult circumstances, relationships, or transitions, that we want help from a professional. I have worked with individuals, couples and families who struggle with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, marital and family conflicts, food and substance use. In my practice, I tend to see many children and adults who mainly suffer with anxiety-related problems. I have a positive and respectful attitude.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a short term practical and educational approach that focuses on developing coping skills and helps you learn how to relax. As you become familiar with this process, you will be more likely to recognize your behaviors and feelings. This meditative state of awareness is also known as "mindfulness."
My offices are in El Cerrito and Castro Valley. There are times when I am full or have a waiting list. I do return all of my calls, however, and will let you know about my availability. I place a very high value in serving all of my clients.
