I design therapy to address the specific problems the person wants to work on. Anything from counseling to deep psychotherapy. I use CBT, EMDR, Client-Centered and Schema therapy. I also have training in psychodynamic and transpersonal therapy. I was trained in Chicago and have worked in private and community clinics, on an in-patient VA dual diagnosis unit and a correctional facility hospital, and at the Illinois state hospital in Chicago. I work with anxiety, OCD, Panic, and depressive/bipolar disorders, ADHD, trauma survivors, couples, LGBT, sexual problems, and male psychology, TBI.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for survivors of child abuse,and interpersonal trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, Panic, Phobias and addictions. We do testing and diagnosis for ADHD, personality, and thinking problems.
I have evening hours and take most insurance. I also offer telephone therapy (not covered by insurance companies), and offer extensive psychological testing when needed. I do not do child custody evaluations or therapy for use in lawsuits. I have pleasant and comfortable offices in Scottsdale ; 101& Shea
