Dr. Woods has been providing neuropsychological evaluations to patients throughout the state of Alaska. She has experience providing neuropsychological evaluation services to patients across the lifespan. She has completed neuropsychological evaluations for individuals experiencing co-occurring psychological disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, neurodegenerative disorders, genetic disorders, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, stroke, seizure disorders, and movement disorders. She is invested in providing culturally competent care, has experience working with LGBTQ+ youth.

My style as a therapist can best be described as eclectic, as I draw from a variety of techniques and theoretical orientations. That being said I tend to be highly client centered, which means I assume clients are the authorities about their own systems. In therapy, it's my job to describe what the science of psychology has to offer given the presenting problem and my professional experience in the area. I am a psychologist with specialty in providing assessment and treatment of adults. Areas of expertise include treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other anxiety conditions. I have specialized training and experience in working with military populations and treatment of combat-related mental health conditions. I further enjoy working with adult dependents of military personnel. Additionally, I have proficiency in working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses, including Bipolar Disorder and psychotic illnesses.
