I earned both my masters and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University - Phoenix. I completed my clinical internship at The University of Colorado Boulder's Counseling and Psychological Services Center where I created an integrated mental health and medical program for LGBTQ+ students and Trans Care Specialty Team. I have experience working with community agencies and supports addressing a wide variety of mental health issues, including mood disorders, adolescent/young adult issues, substance use, eating disorders, and Sexual/Gender Identity concerns.

My approach in therapy is to respect each individual as a whole person. I believe each person knows himself or herself best. Rather than just treating the symptom(s), I attempt to get to know the person well enough to guide them into insights of the CAUSES of their problems. My ultimate goal is to help each individual achieve the healthiest level of well-being and highest developmental level of functioning. Whenever appropriate, I work with multiple members of the same family in order to strengthen the family and/or marriage.

One crucial part of the therapeutic process is having a strong connection. My focus is to provide a calming, safe, and comfortable environment for my clients to feel understood and not judged, to explore more about themselves throughout their therapeutic journey. I operate a small and quaint private practice aimed at providing competent psychological services for a variety of mental health issues, symptoms, and disorders. I generally work with individuals who are experiencing issues with mood/emotional regulation, relationships, anxiety, panic, phobias, work performance, parenting, and navigating adolescence. I also have worked with individuals struggling with anger issues for many years. My availability to take new patients varies depending on our current patient load. However, I am currently only accepting new patients for evaluation.
