Over the past 9 years, I have provided counseling for individuals, students, families and couples. My licensure is in Marriage and Family Therapy, so I not only love to work with individuals, but with couples and families as well. I have a passion for helping couples strengthen and improve their marriages, as well as learn to work together as a team. I also enjoy working with individuals who are facing difficult or transitional times in their lives. I maintain an encouraging and supportive approach to help individuals identify their struggles and anxieties, as well as develop coping mechanisms to overcome the difficulties they are facing.

I’m guided by my belief in the eternal worth and inherent wisdom of each person. Each individual is the expert of their own experience, and, within each of us, lies an immense power for self-healing. My therapeutic style can be described as warm, collaborative, and experiential. I view my role in this process as a facilitator, working alongside individuals as they reflect upon their experiences, broaden their awareness, and investigate ongoing behavioral patterns. Together, we may begin to freely explore prevailing paradigms and construct a more personalized path forward.

I have additional extensive training in Sex Therapy and sex addiction. I have been a corporate CEO, and am retired from the USAF with 22 years of service to this great country. We often get lost in what we feel like we should or can't do, which confines us in little boxes that make it hard for us to feel vibrant and celebrate our uniqueness. I believe that when we explore and deconstruct the social constructions and dominant discourses in our social-cultural location and biases that don't align with our personal experiences or beliefs we have the autonomy and freedom to get in touch with our most core self and better understand how we interact with our world.
