I have particular expertise and experience with individuals who suffer from depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, eating disorders, personality disorders, trauma, violence, and substance abuse. I also have extensive experience in forensic psychology, conduct forensic assessments, and have served as an expert witness in numerous legal matters.

I have experience treating a variety of clients from young children, teens, parents, and grandparents. I have assisted them through traditional treatment as well as custody evaluations, bonding evaluations, reunification therapy, and learning assessments. In treatment, I have used EMDR skills to treat high levels of anxiety. My experience with depression and other mood disorders has spanned almost 20 years of practice in psychology. I work collaboratively with my clients. There is no question or experience too big or small for us to examine and unlock together.

I hold a BA from Rutgers University in psychology and women’s studies (2000); an MA in clinical and counseling psychology from Columbia University (2002); and a Doctor of Psychology degree from the American School of Professional Psychology—Washington, DC Campus (2008).
