My name is Agnieszka Baklazec and I along with three other therapists in my practice along with two prescribers are here for you. We believe that some of life events are traumatic enough and difficult enough that we lose sight of who we truly are as people. We believe therapy can help us get to that beautiful state when, even the imperfections, make up for a beautiful human being each of us is. We also believe that therapy should be affordable and accessible, therefore, we have the ability to offer sliding scale. This option is usually ideal for someone who does not have insurance or chooses not to utilize it.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I work with individuals, couples, and families, adolescents and teenagers, facing a variety of challenges. I have a variety of therapy experience including facilitating traditional therapy sessions, working with children in a school setting and supporting family therapy sessions. I am passionate about providing a safe space for people to share thoughts and feelings about what they are experiencing. I use a variety of approaches to help support and guide you through this process depending on what your needs are. I am also fluent in Russian.

I base my therapeutic approach on the belief that we all are good at heart, worthy, and capable of making the right choices for ourselves. I believe that we cannot truly change without understanding our past and how it impacts our present. I help my clients explore their early experiences, first attachments, environments they were born into, and generational trauma to help them understand the patterns they've developed in order to adapt. Those once adaptive patterns, oftentimes become maladaptive later on in life and can be hard to change. I assist my clients in their process of change through guided exploration, drawing links between the past and the present and gently challenging the patterns that no longer serve them.

I am an art therapist, psychotherapist and visual artist. In my practice I combine wide range of therapeutic technique with my creative background. My intention is to integrate mindfulness, EMDR and a strength-based approach, with culturally humanity and evidence-based practices. Using therapeutic art techniques and other holistic modalities, I assist clients in re-establishing healthy relationship with self and others.

I use both art and talk therapy to treat children, adolescents, adults and families with relational struggles, mood disorders, anxiety, substance abuse, life transitions, grief and more. I am an art therapist, often inviting my clients to drop into their body in order to move further from the busy mind. I believe that growth comes from the commitment to the therapeutic process. In family work I specialize in high-conflict divorce and co-parenting. My focus is on helping parents support their children best in the process of divorce and post divorce reality.
