Years of Experience I have been a licensed psychologist since 2017. I completed predoctoral training through Nationwide Children's Hospital Child Development Center, Twin Valley Behavioral Health, and two private practices in Dayton and Columbus. My predoctoral internship was completed at Venture Psychological Internship Consortium in Battle, Creek Michigan. I completed rotations at a community mental health center, autism clinic, and an integrated medical center. My post-doctoral fellowship at Daily Behavioral Health focused on specializing in pediatric neurodevelopmental disorders.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. In addition, I am also certified in Clinical Social Work and Substance Misuse Disorder. I began her therapeutic career as a Mental Health Therapist in a male youth residential behavioral treatment facility, treating children of all ages. I have also worked in outpatient therapeutic settings, in-patient substance abuse treatment facilities, as well as many others.

Immediate openings available! As a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), I have experience working with a wide variety of couples and individuals (18+). I draw on a range of approaches, including EFT, CBT, and The Gottman Method. I welcome couples interested in pre-marital counseling; those struggling with communication issues; and those coping with infidelity, addiction, co-parenting, and family-blending. I also serve individual clients (18+) dealing with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief, and other life changes. I have a special interest in working with military clients and families.

I love my work. I have really enjoyed getting to know my clients over the past 35 years. Although I consult with adults, adolescents & children, I also see many couples and families. My clients are never the problem, they have problems and need solutions and strategies to get "unstuck" or make changes in their lives. I have also found personal, business and career coaching helpful to many clients. I am the owner of a large practice with psychologists, psychiatrists & counselors. Aya Henry is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio who has been practicing since 2022. She completed her Undergrad at The Ohio State University and her Master's at William and Mary with an emphasis in addiction. Aya has always had a passion for social justice and advocacy; therefore, she practices within a multicultural framework. This approach allows her to provide space for her clients to explore their own identity development. Aya's integrative approach includes narrative, DBT, strengths-based, MI, and ACT. She really likes emphasizing connecting themes that help empower clients.

At my practice, we treat a wide variety of patients. For some, it is his or her first time at therapy and there may be some trepidation about starting the process. For others, we have been one of many therapists in his or her life. Each patient brings a unique and fascinating set of thoughts, feelings and behaviors all of which require a specific method of treatment. It is wonderful work!
