I believe this can be achieved through changing client's thinking patterns, and encouraging positive realistic thinking; thus resulting in positive change in client's behavior and lives. My therapeutic approach consists of treating, Families, Couples, Individuals, Marriage and Family issues, At-Risk-Youths and their Families, police officers, Domestic Violence among others. Counseling allows me to help assist in bringing balance and order into my clients lives through effective change.

I have been a therapist for 22 years and have worked in this field for 23 years. I have extensive experience in crisis intervention, depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress management. I want to help my clients develop self-awareness and coping skills for their challenges by utilizing their strengths and social supports. Clients must be motivated to get help so they can eventually help themselves. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Life often comes with unexpected challenges and obstacles that can be difficult to face on your own. Debbie Weitz is an Associate Professional Therapist who hails from Marietta, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia, and earned both her Master of Science and Specialist in Education degrees from the Florida State University. She also completed a PK-12 Professional School Counseling Post-Graduate Certificate from Mercer University. Throughout her career, Debbie has served as a Mock Interview Mentor, University Career Center Advisor, University Co-Instructor, School Counselor, and Associate Professional Counselor within Private Practice.
