I enjoy working with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues, with an emphasis on self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. With a deep specialization in PTSD, cPTSD and a wide range of mental health issues, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. As a certified EMDR practitioner, a Board-Certified Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and a member of The American Art Therapy Association, I have honed my skills in working with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. One of my strongest convictions lies in the transformative potential of art and psychodynamic theory. I work specifically with children, adolescents, and adults with various concerns, including potential diagnoses of ADHD, learning disabilities, and mental health disorders. Please note that I do not conduct therapy/counseling with children, only assessments/testing to identify any diagnoses. Lastly, I provide spiritual coaching (Christian) to those would would like to set and achieve life goals from a spiritual perspective.

Parenting can be difficult. Children have their own personalities, ways of thinking, big feelings and struggle with healthy coping strategies. Children and adolescents often do not know how to communicate their thoughts and feelings and often act out in frustration. Youth are experiencing anxiety, self-doubt, low self confidence, social anxiety, stress, depression, and struggle with focusing. These can become negative self talk and can impact their families. Areas of special interest for me include working with youth and their families to help them flourish. I provide therapy and psychological evaluations.

I enjoy working with people of all ages. I have experience in school counseling for over 20 years, and I have worked in elementary, middle and high schools including an alternative school. I have worked with clients with learning disabilities and gifted. I have worked with children who are on the autism spectrum, and with behavioral problems. I have worked with families who are experiencing changes: divorce, remarriage, blending families, moves, sickness and death, adoption and fostering families. I have also worked with many families who are family care placements who children whose parents can't care for them.
