My approach to counseling uses a person-centered perspective with a focus on hope, strength, and empowerment. I also use an integrative approach of mindfulness, relaxation, art, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy when working with people. I believe that all people have the capacity to grow and move forward. They just need some additional support and a person to walk with them. And that is where I come in.

I work with adolescents and young adults from the age of 13 providing support in the areas of anxiety, family and school issues, depression, adjustment, authority, and other issues, which are faced in our changing world. I work closely with families from all background, schools, and community to support clients as they gently work through their areas of healing. Also, as an experienced clinician with broad skills in adjustment, I understand the challenges individuals/families face in transition. As your therapist, I will provide deep support and tools for your emotional health and growth.

Psychology works because it is a way to help people understand their problems and correct or change so that they can live more healthy or satisfying lives. Many people come for therapy if they are experiencing problems with depression, anxiety or relationship issues. Some other common problems that I help treat are problems with work injuries, sleep, weight, stress, trauma, and sexual problems. These problems can be greatly helped through therapy.
