Hi, my name is Tasheena, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC and am licensed in both West Virginia and South Carolina. I have a BA in Psychology from the University of Charleston and an MS in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have experience providing therapy services to at-risk youth and their families within the court and corrections settings regarding substance use, behavioral issues, emotion regulation, relationships, communication, process addictions, and a variety of other issues depending on the client's needs.

I utilize an individualized approach to target clinical symptoms and personality issues. My interventions are evidence based with the goal of empowering others to better understand the origins of their issues and to make meaningful changes, regardless of diagnostic labels. As a Trauma-Informed therapist, I am sensitive to the influence of past experiences on present challenges. I work with my clients to revise the narrative of their life and help to heal old wounds in order for clients to heal and move on with a newfound feeling of freedom and sense of relief. I have experience and training in many different techniques and therapeutic approaches which helps me to be multifaceted with treatment plans that are truly individualistic.
