I have been involved in therapy for almost twenty years working in areas of criminal justice, social services, mental health, welfare and addiction treatment. I have enjoyed working with all age clients-each having different challenges. Although I enjoy working with all clients, areas of specialization: Adolescent behavioral issues, gambling and addictive behaviors, family and marriage counseling. As your therapist, we will process anxiety, depression, past traumas, reroute negative behaviors, & learn how lived experiences impact the way you view the world currently. My clients often seek therapy because they are wanting to uncover the meanings behind their emotions; together, we are often able to uncover the meaning behind these emotions by better understanding past traumas encountered. Only then, can we replace negative behaviors that have stemmed from these traumas, together. I provide a safe & genuine space for LGBTQ clients & practice from an inclusive & client-centered perspective.

I work with a diversity of individuals (aged 18 and up; I do not see couples or families) struggling with many things, including sexual abuse and assault; with psychotic conditions (including schizophrenia); & those with personality disorders, (e.g., borderline, schizoid, and obsessional). I have treated physicians, nurses, clergy, military personnel, teachers & academics, but I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds, including other clinicians, who are desirous of an exploration of their mind in order to find deeper freedom in their inner life and an increased emotional capacity to bear life's sorrows as well as its joys.

As a Christian psychologist with over 40 years in practice I try to combine Biblical principals with sound psychological research and clinical experience. My focus is working with individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, stress, guilt, worry, fear, anger, or trust issues as well as with couples dealing with affairs, communication issues, issues with being together or parenting issues. I work with adults over the age of 18 only or children if accompanied by a parent. My practice is limited to only taking only a few people at a time so we can concentrate on their specific and unique issues and concerns.
