each family is unique whether the struggles include young, teens or elderly.
You are waiting for your teen to get home and it is WAY PAST time. He/ she is a cutter and uses marijuana. He/she says you're crazy to call it drugs. You are worried that this kid is into even more damaging behaviors and you are out of hope, ideas and options! CALL ME I can HELP. This kid deserves another chance and so do you and your family. Don't let being too close to the situation, fear and panic stop you from calling for an appointment. I have variable hours to meet with you. CALL FOR HELP! There is HOPE!

Working through the hard times together and learning how to manage them can feel very difficult, but it is always worth the effort. It can be helpful to take a strategic approach to finding positive solutions which is why I utilize multiple evidence-based approaches to fit the needs of my clients, with an emphasis on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Anxiety and depression can be exhausting and disorienting. We tell ourselves, along with friends and family we should just “snap out of it”. But these moods can be out of our ability to change on our own. Avoiding them eventually leads to the anxiety and or depression getting worse. There are ways to lessen these feelings and reclaim our lives. I worked for 9 years at a local non-profit with veterans, first responders and their partners dealing with these issues as well as various types of trauma. There is hope. Although each client is different with different outcomes, the first step is to reach out for help.
