I have a long history of working with those struggling with addiction as well as concerns related to sex and intimacy. From a mental health perspective, I work with clients who have anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems and some personality disorders.

The NEST is a boutique mental health and wellness clinic located in beautiful downtown Stillwater. While we specialize in concerns related to the reproductive cycle across the lifespan, we also work with a wide variety of mental health conditions in men, women and adolescents. I find that it is most helpful to speak on the phone initially when sorting out whether you would be comfortable working with me and to see whether I can be helpful with the issues that you are facing. I have worked as a psychologist and marriage and family therapist for over twenty years. I have experience with a wide range of diagnoses including depression and anxiety. My caseload includes adults, adolescents and children. I see families and couples who are struggling with relationships, mental health problems and adjustment to life's developmental challenges.

I specialize in depression, anxiety, communication issues, boundaries, self-esteem, infidelity, imposter syndrome, trauma/PTSD, women’s issues, and personality disorders. I have extensive experience working with individuals experiencing the impact of complex trauma. Another area that I specialize in is post partum depression, I am very passionate about supporting individuals experiencing this and helping them heal.

Couples therapy is my passion. Given the chaos and the way in which human relationships are being undermined in our world today, I feel this work is particularly needed. As far as human happiness goes, I see time and time again that it is the quality of a person’s relationships that makes it or breaks it. This is really the foundation of my couples therapy practice. I've been counseling men and couples for over 40 years. My specialties are men with compulsive/addictive sexual behaviors, unresolved childhood abuse/trauma/neglect, anxiety/depression, relationship problems and intimacy issues. I also do couple's therapy teaching and helping couples in good communication and conflict management and how to heal from infidelity. Cornerstone has 5 outpatient treatment groups for men with sexual addiction. My current work focuses on sex therapy. My areas of speciality within sex therapy include desire and arousal issues, desire discrepancies between partners, vulvodynia/vaginismus and other sexual or pelvic pain, and the intersection of sex and disability. Additionally, I work with adults and older teens–especially queer, trans and LGTBQIA+ people—around issues of mood, attachment, addiction, and identity.
