My name is Summer, and my areas of practice include substance use disorder, addictions, trauma, depression, anxiety and change of life stressors. I am also passionate about providing care to children and adolescents. I am a mother of two and have volunteered working with children in the past. I believe early intervention may promote better coping, resiliency and hope for the future. I am currently working under supervision in Lagrange, GA. I earned both my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Lagrange College.

Though trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, my humanistic background is the foundation for my belief that true healing occurs within relationships. Because I value the power of relationship, I want you to know that I have personally experienced hard things too. My own experiences with anxiety, loss and trauma all contribute to my caring, compassionate and personalized approach in therapy. I also believe that every behavior has a purpose and a payoff.
