I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a lifelong passion of working with children, adolescents, and adults improve their levels of social and emotional well-being. I have over 20 years of extensive experience working in private practice and in the public schools as a school psychologist and school administrator. I also provide individual therapy, cognitive and academic assessments, and school consultations. Over the span of my career, I have treated ADHD, substance abuse, bipolar, psychotic and personality disorders.

Riley, my therapy dog certified through Therapy Dogs of America (TDI) often joins me in sessions based on client preference.

I have found great joy in serving under the umbrella of Behavioral Health. I began my professional journey as a mental health counselor at Allendale Associates in 2013. I was passionate about my discipline, but I quickly realized the need to explore the correlation between behavior, trauma, and family in order to become more effective in my service and purpose. Additionally, the nexus of disciplines inherent in this helping profession, fuels my unequivocal appreciation for the dynamics of the home life and its impact on the youth; hence, I became a Certified Parent Educator and Licensed Professional Counselor.

Hello! I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of clinical experience helping survivors of abuse and trauma learn to heal and thrive. I also help people who are currently in an abusive or unhealthy relationship, or who recently got out of one, and are having difficulty coping with anxiety, self-doubt, and sadness. Therapy can help you process your experience, learn healthier ways to engage in relationships, and begin living a life that is worthwhile and joyful. I provide a safe, empathetic, supportive environment for you to reconnect with your strength and resilience. You are not alone, and healing is possible.

I strive to help clients develop the self-awareness and coping skills to manage problems as they arise. I am heavily involved in the McHenry County Suicide Prevention Task Force and take a special interest in working with those struggling with self-injurious behaviors, suicidal ideation, and/or suicide bereavement.
