Greetings, my name is Barbara Thomas. I received my Social Work undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University and my graduate degree from The Ohio State University in Social Work, with a Business Administration focus. I have worked in a variety of community settings including Home Base Services, hospitals, residential and virtual locations. I have serviced children, teens, adults, and older adults also known as the Geriatric population experiencing homelessness, alcohol and drug addiction, COVID-19, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, depression, and more. Having had experienced many losses in my life, I often wonder what to do next or how to move forward. Sometimes life happens so quickly that it seems like there is not enough time to catch a breath. It's a scary feeling to have to figure out the hustle and bustle of life while still hurting inside.
