We counsel individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and abuse backgrounds, and we are trained in EMDR, a leading research-based treatment for trauma. We also specialize in marriage counseling and treat couples from a pro-marriage perspective, utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples identify their negative cycle of relating and restore their emotional connection. We have specialized training in the treatment of sexual addiction, with focus on both the addict and partner.

Healing starts the moment a person begins to be heard. As a therapist, I take the necessary time to listen to clients, build positive rapport, and explore the barriers and traumas that are causing distress in all aspects of life. Gloria Waugh is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her undergraduate degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. She began her career working as an outpatient clinician treating children, teens, adults and families with diverse diagnosis including severe and persistent mental illnesses, mood disorders, bi-polar, schizophrenia, depression, anger, anxiety, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorders, chronic pain, PMDD, personality disorders and co-occurring disorders.

Thank you for visiting. I don't believe mental health should be expensive so I only charge $50 an hour for individual and $95 for couples. I do not accept any insurance at this time. I have in person appointments open every Friday from 8:00 am through 5:00 pm!! I have been working in the mental health field since 2008. I strive to help individuals improve their wellbeing and help them on the road to recovery. My goal is to walk along side of you to help you achieve your hopes, dreams and support you on your wellness journey. Empathy, mutual understanding and a nonjudgmental stance is my objective.
