Hello! My name is Kiersten Garcia, I am a mental health counselor at The Chrysalis Counseling Center in Moorestown, NJ. I have been trained to help clients through emotional difficulties, behavioral issues, life transitions, trauma, stress management, low self-esteem, family and relationship challenges, various mental health conditions and many other concerns. I have received the most education and training working with women's issues, teen issues, anxiety, depression and OCD.

I am an ordained minister of pastoral care and a certified temperament counselor working towards my Masters degree in clinical Christian counseling. I felt the Lord calling me into this field when I was 17 years old struggling with my own emotions. I didn't always feel understood by those around me which caused me to bottle up my emotions. My passion today is making children and teens feel heard and understood. My goal is to draw struggling teens and children closer to God while helping them discover who God created them to be.

I specialize in working with children, teenagers, and young adults who have experienced trauma or are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and low self-esteem.
