I am a Licensed Marriage, Family.and Child Therapist who has practiced for over 25 years. I treat the whole person as a unique interaction of mind, body and spirit. I honor therapy as a way to heal the upsets and traumatic wounds that keep us from feeling at peace with ourselves and others. I see people as parts of family systems that can create healthy relationships or problematic ones. I help families and couples change generational patterns and beliefs to be more supportive of their love and of empathic communication. I also specialize in treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

I solely work with clients experiencing addiction disorders, their families, and co-occurring mental health. I offer virtual sessions for NC residents and am in-network with Aetna (NC Only). I offer virtual and in-person sessions for SC residents and can discuss insurance benefits on a case-by-case basis. I do not accept BCBS of SC. I also enjoy assisting other professionals by providing clinical supervision in North Carolina (CADC, LCAS-A, LCAS) and South Carolina (AADC, LAC). I am a client-centered therapist who likes to work collaboratively with each person. I see it as a privilege to be allowed to help you, and I treat each client with dignity and respect. I work with most issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, ADHD, parenting, and adolescent problems. My experiences as a teacher helps me work with adolescent issues related to anxiety, depression, behavior, self-esteem, sexuality, gender, etc.
