My name is Jessica Rosales, I am Latina, born and raised in Chicago, and bilingual in Spanish. I have over 13 years of experience in the field of psychology. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am a partner at Rare Mind Counseling, Consulting, and Mediation Services, PLLC. At Rare Mind, our mission is to provide comprehensive, professional, and culturally sensitive therapeutic services.

Family First Domestic & Family Counseling Clinic (FFCC) have advanced training in forensic psychology which provides them with the skills needed to work with and within the legal system. FFCC staff also works with clients with family of origin issues, depression, anxiety, grief, domestic violence, codependency, stress, life transitions, career changes, and more. We offer services in English and Spanish.

In my therapy practice, I specialize in creating an empathic and supportive environment. I will work to empower and guide you to develop healthy coping strategies, deeper more satisfying relationships, and the skills and space to process your emotions and move forward.

I am interested in helping individuals, families, and couples who are confronted with difficult challenges in their personal and professional lives. This includes marital obstacles of infidelity, marital stagnation, and partner abuse. It is also my desire to serve those struggling with issues of substance abuse and process addictions; such as pornography, compulsive sexual behaviors, and histories of sexual abuse. In addition, I look forward to helping teens and adolescents who find themselves struggling in areas of social relations, academic progress, and/or who are frequently in trouble at school or with the law due to challenging personal behaviors.

I am a therapist who believes therapy should be an inviting place for clients to feel comfortable in exploring struggles and appreciating strengths. I am passionate about working collaboratively with clients struggling in areas of anxiety and depression, processing trauma, self-esteem issues, challenges in peer/relational relationships, and developing healthy coping skills. My sensitive methods acknowledge vulnerability in discussing matters to improve the client's well-being.

I work with individuals, couples, and families confronting a range of challenging circumstances including, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I specialize in understanding complex family dynamics and how these play out over the life cycle. Acutely aware that life can pull the rug out from underneath us though the experince of a traumatic or extraordinary event, I use a trauma informed lens in my work. My lived expereince and theological training have taught me to appreciate the role that faith & spirituality play in healing and when asked, I will bring these tools into our work together.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in assisting children, adults, and families in overcoming personal and environmental challenges. My approach to counseling is interactive and respectful, aimed at helping you discover the best solutions in a safe and trusting environment. With expertise in individual and marital therapy, divorce, and child custody hearings, I frequently serve as an expert witness in divorce proceedings concerning the well-being of the child. Our commitment to providing exceptional, empathetic, and compassionate care is at the core of our practice's success and client well-being.

Charisma S. Pryor, LCSW of Inspirations of Courage, PLLC, specializes in counseling individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, marital/partner problems, and more. Her treatment focuses on identifying tools to address the problem(s), improve coping skills, and positively recognize the client’s accomplishments! She brings over 21 years of experience as a Black female therapist, social worker, and counselor treating children, women, and men. Sessions are conducted virtually. I utilize a trauma-informed integrated approach that tailors to the needs of each client. I support clients seeking to learn skills to develop inner strength, find self-awareness, and improve mindfulness. As a veteran, I also provide support to veterans and first responders.
