TR Counseling & Wellness is a small group practice with a culturally diverse team of Professional Therapists (LPC, LCSW) and Addiction Counselors (LADC). The therapists are considered generalists, treating most conditions, but also have sub-specialties including but not limited to: Addiction, Anger & Stress Management, Anxiety/Panic Disorder, Bipolar/Mood Disorders, Christian Counseling, Depression, Grief & Loss, OCD, PTSD/Trauma, Life Changes, Children & Couples/Family Problems. Whatever you may be going through, you can rest assured that we are here to help and can offer a choice of therapist that can best suit your needs and personality.

I work with clients, couples and families to lower anxiety and improve communication within the family and extended family. Often it helps to work with childhood trauma, or neglect as these things can carry forward into current relationships. I do work with helping couples and families identifying and working towards resolving challenges to their communication and care for each other.

Brigid Carney, PhD student (1st yr), MS, LPCA, NCC, MBA, PMP, LSSMBB, is a "military brat" & First Responder (FR) wife and FR daughter. Brigid understands the occupational stress associated with the FR world and the needed support for our FR to heal. Brigid understands that FR can have significant physical and psychological health impacts. Brigid is a former efficiency expert who understands the unique issues & needs of the business executive & how to resolve conflicts, improve relationships & network to resolve challenges. Brigid can foster business executives into the bleeding-edge leader, coach and mentor for today's challenges.

On the outside it seems you’ve got a great life. You’re accomplished, driven, and dependable. But on the inside, it never seems good enough and you feel like an imposter. Maybe it feels harder and harder to stay focused and engaged while your mind beats you up with negative self-talk and doubt. It seems everyday stress is turning into anxiety and you’re starting to wonder how much longer you can keep this up. Now you’re fed up and ready to get off the emotional roller coaster and take back control of your life.

I would like to help people get unstuck and achieve a better self or a richer relationship in spite of their current unideal situation. I care and listen to my clients empathetically. No matter what's the challenge you are facing now, my therapy room is a safe place to explore possibilities and to grow. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I work with individuals, couples, and families. Due to the pandemic, I am only doing online therapy for now.
