Hi, I'm Kristen! My clinical focus spans from adolescence through adulthood, specializing in supporting neurodivergent (ADHD/Autistic) individuals and their families. I work with individuals who experience difficulties related to Depression, Anxiety, Self-Esteem, Identity, Self-Image, and Transitioning to Adulthood. Utilizing a strengths-based, person-centered approach, I incorporate talk therapy, CBT and mindfulness techniques to empower clients in their healing journey. My goal is to create a warm and non-judgmental space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

I specialize in working with people of all ages who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, and trauma. In addition to this, I specialize in working with people of all ages who are questioning their gender or sexual orientation. Through gender affirming care, I hope to validate and empower you to feel comfortable being your truest self. As a therapist, I tailor my practice and treatment approach to each individual and family, while working to meet my clients where they are. I believe that providing a safe and welcoming space for my clients is essential to the therapeutic process, and promotes emotional growth and change.

Ms. Hannah Uche has experience working with young adults (ages 18-22) on the autism spectrum through behavioral-centered approaches and methods. Her clinical interests include trauma-related disorders, learning and academic-related disorders, mood disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders. She is also interested in fostering growth and healing regarding body image and physical health as it connects to the mind. In addition to these interests, Hannah has developed a working efficiency in conducting and administering psychological assessments. In her spare time, Hannah loves traveling, photography, and faith-based filmmaking.

In those difficult times it is hard to be objective and make the best decisions for ourselves and others. My experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, isolation, substance use, grief, loss, abuse, neglect, trauma, low self-esteem, life transitions, gender issues, relationship and/or family issues.

We offer Comprehensive Assessments, which provides updated and accurate information that can assist you with educational, workplace, mental health, and personal goals. This assessment measures cognitive functioning, academic performance (if applicable), ADHD/Executive functioning, and emotional/behavioral concerns. This helps to identify giftedness, learning disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other clinical disorders. We have a team of trusted clinicians who assess for numerous private and public schools, psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners in Maryland. We are also accepting new therapy clients.
