Anxiety isn't just fear/nervousness. Anxiety happens when we aren't willing to process difficult emotions. Anxiety can present itself through anger/projection, isolation, busyness, and being unusually overwhelmed. I have been serving adults and couples in the Round Rock/Austin area for over 15 years. My passion is working with adults with various different presenting issues, including loss and grief, marriage/relationship concerns, and trauma. It is my belief that a sound therapeutic relationship is a foundation for healing and I seek to provide that for all of my clients. Through this therapeutic relationship, and through a variety of treatment modalities including Object-Relations, Psychoanalytic, and Internal Family Systems, I strive to assist my clients in finding solutions to their concerns that work for their unique situations.

I am a Therapist and have been providing mental health services for 25 years in outpatient and in home settings. I see Individuals, Couples, Groups, Families and I address ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Panic Attacks, Post-traumatic stress. I am a LCSW with over 10 years of experience counseling individuals, groups, and families. I earned my master’s of social work degree from Baylor University and my bachelor’s of science in psychology from Florida State University. My passion is helping children/adolescents, young adults, military personnel, and their families. Katherine Frenzel is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate supervised by Angela Hardin, LPC-S. Katherine has over 4 years of experience providing mental health services to a variety of clientele, including adults struggling with substance abuse, children and adolescents in the foster care system, and those struggling with mood disorders such as anxiety and depression.
