With warmth, clarity and compassion, I offer help to people suffering from "Wounds of the Heart and Mind": Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, neglect and relationship issues, in both groups and individual. With many years experience in both traditional and mind/body approaches, I integrate Relational Attachment work, Buddhist psychology, Childhood Trauma healing groups and energy medicine practices . I believe that along with real pain and suffering, everyone has a potential healthy Self; often obscured or undeveloped. We can build, hold and nurture that together.

For the person who finds their self re-creating harmful patterns, in negative relationships, acting out of anxiety, depression or emotional pain and using alcohol or drugs more then they want. Even if you use alcohol or drugs a couple times a week to cope. You may not identify with having a substance problem but are interested in harm reduction, patterns of substance misuse, and want change, reach out and we can explore it together, even if you have been abstinent from substances but are concerned about thinking and behaviors. I use a holistic, person-centered approach, along with CBT to provide individualized treatment.

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor as well as a licensed drug and alcohol counselor. My specialty is rehabilitative counseling for individuals diagnosed with psychiatric and/or physical disabilities and I have been working in this field since 2008. I have been privileged to work in such settings as crisis stabilization units, residential rehabs, transitional programs for people who are homeless, and career counseling centers. I have experience working with individuals with physical disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and substance use disorders.

I have been in practice since 2001, specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the treatment of anxiety and depression. I will work with children over 10, adolescents and adults.
