The counselors at Dipoto Counseling Group are Licensed Counselors or Social Workers in the State of Missouri. Our counselors possess a wide range of experience and were selected to meet the diverse needs of our community. We have 16 counselors in our three offices that are ready to work with you. If you are looking for individual, family or couples counseling, we have someone that can work with you. We also have 7 Provisionally Licensed Counselors and Interns that are working under the supervision of Marc Dipoto LPC. They meet weekly with their supervisor to discuss their cases. This service is offered to at a reduced rate.

I specialize in helping people of all ages who have anxiety, OCD, and those who are on the Autism Spectrum. I'm based out of Parkville, Missouri but I help people residing anywhere in Missouri or Kansas. Issues include anxiety, panic, social and coping skills, intrusive thoughts, giftedness, and self-esteem. Parents of younger kids may benefit from learning effective behavior modification strategies and fine tuning their parenting style. Issues addressed can include toilet training, help with bedtime and morning routines, sibling conflict, school anxiety, perfectionism, self-esteem, and tantrums/meltdowns.

I have a warm personality and provide a comfortable, laid-back counseling environment to enable safe sharing. I have extended experience working with kids and teens and have a strong background in life stages and development. My life and work experience enable me to work just as well with adults. I have an especially sensitive heart toward individuals suffering from trauma, grief, anxiety or depression. I love working with children and adolesecents, the more problematic and difficult the kids, the better. I enjoy interacting with them in ways that help us get to the core problems, while implementing coping skills into their daily life to decrease the daily struggles they have at home, at school, with their peers, and out in the community. Empowering them to find their values and integrate them into their daily choices. I also enjoy working with women. Empowering, strengthening and uplifting them to live their full potential, while processing major life events and changes that might be hindering their ability to be successful.
