I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) serving the Twin Cities area, passionate about helping and supporting people. I believe that as humans we are always evolving from the experiences that life offers, which has steered me to believe in the interconnectedness of all life, and therefore my practice operates from a framework honoring the unity of the mind, body and spirit. I believe that each person is unique and that there is no one approach to the problems they present.

I have over 40 years experience as a psychotherapist/Medical Hypnoanalyst. I am accepting, understanding and directed in treating problems. I have taught for various colleges in the Twin Cities area. I have been featured on most of the news stations for hypnoanesthesia. I am results oriented. I have several articles in peer review journals and have recently published a book called The Psychological Autopsy. I treat a wide variety of problems.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with extensive experience working with couples, families, adolescents and individuals. I have expertise working with family conflict, DUI related issues, sexuality, sexual behavior problems, addictions, and crisis intervention. Other areas of interest and experience include family conflict, divorce, depression, anxiety, developmental disabilities and parenting issues.

Real change comes from understanding why our own impulses and behaviors hold us back from experiencing our true potential and discovering the skills to create the change we seek. I believe in a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy that helps people find the answers that were inside them all along. As a therapist, I am intuitive and compassionate, yet direct, and employ a mix of modalities, including traditional psychotherapy, cognitive therapy and mindfulness techniques.
