I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, EMDR and TF-CBT trained. I specialize in working with children ages 5 and up, and adults dealing with complex trauma/ PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, sexual abuse, sexual addiction.

My name is Robin Hicks I’m the first person in three generations to earn a college degree. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Spalding University in Louisville Kentucky, and a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family therapy from St Mary’s University in Minnesota. I grew up in Minneapolis with many challenges, trauma, and one parent household. My ambition has helped me to guide others in their quest to identify, to develop and deliver their purpose in life. I have supported others in a variety of settings from infants to adults and families. presenting with a variety of emotional, social, and behavioral concerns.

I am a geriatric social worker/therapist who works with older adults providing 1) therapy and 2)consulting services. These include issues such as: depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance abuse problems, relationship problems, difficulty aging, identifying cognitive difficulties, dementia, helping individuals to transition to a higher or different level of care.

The most common form of dementia is Alzheimer’s disease (AD), affecting more than 30 million people around the globe. An Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis seemed hopeless and devastating in the past, but the innovative treatment protocol developed by Dr. Dale Bredesen now offers legitimate hope to effectively treat and prevent dementia. Our goal is to prevent or reverse early cognitive decline in those at risk for developing dementia. Thankfully, Dr. Bredesen’s protocol is extremely effective at doing that.

With over eleven years of practice since receiving my Master's in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, I've developed a deep understanding and expertise in supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, bereavement, and caregiver burden.

As a group facilitator, Holly is both dynamic and engaging. She is trained in Brainspotting, EMDR, Gottman method, as as well as Aggression Replacement Training. Holly has also worked with Alzheimer's/Dementia, and family caregivers at the University of Minnesota and Fairview Hospital.
