In life we often times face difficult circumstances that may alter our life plans. I work with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I recently graduated with my master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have experience working with people across the lifespan with many different mental health needs in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I primarily work with individuals 16 years old and older who may struggle with anxiety, panic attacks, obsessions and compulsions, depression, attention deficit/hyperactivity (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, gender identity, sexuality, life transitions, and stress.

I specialize in working with children and adolescents/teens dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment difficulties, low self-esteem and behavioral issues at home and school. I work with clients to create a safe space in which to gain greater self awareness, improve coping skills, and improve mental and emotional well being. I use a strengths-based client centered approach incorporating cognitive behavioral techniques, holistic therapies such as walk and talk as well as yoga techniques and expressive therapies such as art, play and sand therapy.

My goal is to help you achieve whatever success looks like for you. Often, reaching our goals can seem daunting and even anxiety-provoking. Let’s tackle this together! I have worked in community mental health, outpatient, inpatient, volunteer, and primary care settings. I have experience helping clients who have had various concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationship issues, trauma, life change adjustments, adoption, substance use, and aging family members. HOURS: M-F 10am - 4pm. Weekend hours available on 1st and 3rd weekends of the each month.

I am dedicated to providing compassionate support for individuals on the Autism Spectrum, guiding young adults through the challenges of anxiety and depression, offering treatment for kids and adults with ADHD, and integrating the principles of Neurodivergent affirming therapy. Clients come to me to create healthy coping skills, overcome unwanted behaviors and thoughts, and find a safe and understanding space to embark on a journey towards healing and empowerment.

I love working with those who are truly seeking lasting change. I have worked with people from ages 5-80 from a variety of backgrounds. I have specific training in perinatal and maternal mental health, autism, ADHD, religious trauma, complex trauma, infertility, adoption, substance use, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, child and infant loss, LGBTQIA+, play therapy for neurodivergence, and holistic health integration. I am also a lived-experience provider. :-)

I provide psycho-educational evaluations, and individualized evaluations and treatment for children, adolescents, adults and families. I value the client's experience and use a variety of evidenced based treatments (ACT, CBT, mindfulness) to help clients reach their goals.
