I focus on anxiety, depression, assertiveness, boundaries, NT/AS relationships or marital problems. Single incident trauma treated with EMDR. OCD treatment utilizing ERP and CBT. Se Habla Español. I am a native Spanish speaker able to translate and provide therapy in Spanish, as well as address acculturation difficulties for various ethnic groups. I am also a US Army veteran and personally understand many of the issues surrounding military life and culture.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a national certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapist (CFCBT). I have sixteen years of experience working with adults, families, children, and teens on different issues. I am trained in to work with individuals facing struggles related to parenting skills, developmental and learning disabilities, trauma, abuse, grief, depression and anxiety. I am also a certified meditation instructor who uses mind, body and spirit techniques. I specialize in Psychological Testing with children, adolescents and adults to evaluate Cognitive, Adaptive, Behavior and Personality functioning. Requests for these evaluations are typically in response to concerns about daily functioning, inattentiveness, hyperactivity, academic difficulties, behavioral or emotional problems, developmental disabilities, diagnostic clarification for medication therapy and treatment planning or to document a need for support services at home, school or place of employment. These are often requested by therapists, physicians, school counselors, parents, psychiatrists, employers, judges, attorneys, case managers, other community providers as well as self referred. I am experienced in working with culturally diverse populations and language interpreters.

I am originally from Peru but I have lived in MN since 2004. Spanish is my native language. I also speak English fluently. I identify as a cis, straight, immigrant, Latina or Latinx woman & social worker. My work focuses on offering empathy, support, promoting insight, and working collaboratively to achieve goals. I strive to understand people's experiences within their own unique context and take into account larger community and social issues, and how they impact our experience.

I am a Latinx bilingual licensed psychologist dedicated to supporting people from diverse cultural and economic background as they cultivate their own resilience building practices. I use my experience working with patients to determine how to best facilitate the development of a healthy mind/body. The human psyche is beautifully complicated. It can create for us moments of exhilarating joy and excruciating pain. The key to maximize joy and minimize pain is very different for each individual. It is important to have a wide range of resilience building practices to draw from in order to create individualized self-care plans.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist/Bilingual Psychotherapist focused on providing a range of services for the community including Individual and Family Therapy for Adolescents and Adults. I have over twenty years of experience as a psychotherapist treating children, individuals and families. I have been intensively trained as a child psychoanalytic psychotherapist, which has given me the basis to understand and to integrate diverse techniques during my practice for the assessment and treatment of people with different disorders.
