I am a licensed therapist who provides a safe nurturing environment for children and adolescents. I focus on topics such as life adjustment, depression, anxiety, relationship and family issues, life transitions, ADHD, autism spectrum and neurodivergent individuals, and attachment issues. I specializes in ADHD and Autism spectrum disorders, childhood attachment issues which tend to impede emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual growth. I also have an extensive background in assisting individuals with spectrum disorders.

My goal is assisting clients with identifying and addressing internal and interpersonal goals by breaking cycles that do not work for them. The goal is to have clients gain autonomy and empowerment to address complex issues and concerns pragmatically, effectively, and consistently. Demographics include teens, young adults, and adults (individual session). The populations I work with include Developmental Trauma and/or Trauma, SMI, Personality Disorders, BFRB, Bipolar Disorder, and Neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD, and OCD). I utilize a multi-modal approach to ensure clients receive services that best meet their individualized needs.

I am the best fit for a family who has children between the ages from birth to 24 years old. I offer support to families who are struggling with challenging behaviors from their children and adolescents in home or at school. I offer a unique systemic approach that includes parents in the treatment process that is not found in many other practices. This systemic approach is extremely affective and helps keep parents in the loop and helps families complete the treatment goal faster than other approaches. As I believe therapy for children should be brief and solution focused so they can get back to being a kid.

I am a Licensed Psychologist who works with individuals, couples, and families. I have worked with kids and their families for over 25 years. My favorite children and teens are strong willed, capable, and smart (academic and/or common sense). I see kids ranging from 3 year old to college students. Some of the most common issues that I work with are ADD/ADHD, Oppositional/Defiant, Depression, Anxiety and Bipolar Disorders. Other general issues are poor social skills, difficulty with frustration, poor communication skills and parent-child conflict. Because so many of the families that I see are struggling with how get along easily, I prefer to include parents whenever possible.

Abby finds joy working with children ages 5-105. Children are special and the work with children with trauma ages 5-18 is my specialty. The way to healing is a unique trail from everyone and is not easy but you will be stronger through the process of healing. I am a Master of Counseling student at Arizona State University working under the supervision of Lisa Boomer, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I strive to enhance my clinical and cultural competencies through providing services to clients with a variety of presenting concerns and have the most experience working with clients facing anxiety, depression, life-transitions, and ASD. I work to help my clients in the here-and-now by tailoring an approach that is fundamentally collaborative and includes elements of person-centered/interpersonal therapy, CBT, and psychodynamic theories among others.

I love working with women (ages 25 +) who want to move beyond trauma, anxiety, narcissistic abuse (parent/authoritarian only-not romantic relationships) and love working with women who have children or adult children with exceptional needs. I am a Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy teacher, having completed extensive training at Oxford University England. I have been a therapist for over 35 years and I have trained in many modalities.

Katie Landon is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), with experience working with foster youth, domestic violence victims, and neurodiverse clients. She utilizes an array of treatment approaches including solution-focused, CBT, DBT, inner-child work, mindfulness, attachment work, and play therapy. She loves working with clients of all ages. She fosters each client’s emotional needs, and takes into consideration trauma history, as well as cultural and societal influences. She also believes in the value of holistic health and healing, which entails the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

The Arizona Psychology Clinic offers Neuropsychological and Psychological Testing Services for ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Gifted IQ, Twice Exceptional and Personality Issues. Additionally, testing for accommodations on Standardized Tests such as the SAT, ACT and GRE is also offered. Testing protocols for receiving accommodations within school and college settings are a focus of the practice as well.

Throughout my life I searched for ways to use empathy to empower and show others that there is hope even when it feels like there could never be.
